Lecture

My Fiber Art Journey

$150 - 1 hour

This 60 minute lecture is very informative

It is a perfect way to start out the "Decorative Stitch Thread Painting" lessons

I talk about my fiber art history from starting out as a child, and work up to where I am today as a fiber artist

I show examples of the steps of my process from starting with white fabric

to painting the fabric, then using the built-in "Decorative Stitches".

I show examples of how to alter the stitch and then what to do with the stitches once you alter them

I have examples of my work progression over the years

There will be a question and answer session plus a trunk show after the lecture

Note: The guild or store who hire me for an event, will need to provide

2 large tables and a digital camera and screen for the lecture

Below are my class selections

Once we decided on a time, what classes you would like and if you want the lecture

I will then send you a contract with all the information we have agreed to

I will also email you several attachments with information about the classes

(example: what stitches we will use, what machine is adequate, supply list, and how to prepare for the class)

These attachments can then be emailed out to the students that sign up for my classes
